ImageI know it’s not your fault

But when you take a last look

At my frozen limbs and

The sealed lips

Know that I was once like you

But here I lay in the blanket of the earth

But rejoice not nor weep not for me

Just remember to put a flower on my headrest.

I have done my part, now am gone

For the destiny of man is controlled by Allah only

Let me lie quietly in my new abode

Could you tell managers of Awudome cemetery

That I would need them to trim the over grown weeds

And do a massive renovation, restructuring and recreation of the burial ground

Tell them to mend the broken fence walls, provide some lighting and security

Surely man cannot suffer in a life time and still suffer in the grave

Kindly tell the young ones to desist from having sex on my tomb

They can wait or find a proper bed

If it is the will of Allah, our paths will cross again

But till then, allow me to rest peacefully in my tomb.
