When news emerged that Shatta Wale had parted ways with Emmanuel Barnes alias Mr. Logic a radio presenter and manager of the dance hall artiste I heaved a sigh of relief because I had worked at Accra based X fm 95.1where Mr. Logic was an on-air presenter and in the process gotten to know the two quite well.
Shatta was a regular presence at the station thanks to Mr. Logic but it soon became apparent that as buddies the two were terrific but as business associates the partnership was doomed because of the explosive nature of the two men and their wild partying ways.
It is no coincidence that at the time of parting ways with Mr. Logic the good image of Shatta is rising and he is enjoying goodwill he has never enjoyed in the course of his career. Old video clips of Shatta directed by Mr. Logic who is also the CEO of Bad People Entertainment were nothing to write home about.
Shatta must sanitize himself, contain his pleasures and redirect his focus on his music which many believe can reach far with the right support. Already thanks to the dance hall king track he has acquired a 40, 000 pounds BMW vehicle and a lot more will come if and only if the hits keep coming. It’s over to you Mr. Charles Armah.
