ImageThat TV 3 is huge in entertainment programming is stating the obvious, but it is their handling of sports which has given many cause for concern. The coverage of the ongoing Euro 2012 tournament in Poland and Ukraine has badly exposed the station yet again of not attaching premium on sporting events and in the process taking loyal viewers for a ride.

When the tournament was yet to begin, a series of promos were done and aired on both Metro and TV 3 respectively of their coverage of the tournament but weeks into the tournament, TV 3 has halfheartedly shown a few of the matches as compared to Metro’s coverage much to the chagrin of core viewers.

If TV 3 knew it couldn’t go all out to satisfy the soccer needs of its men folk why then raise their hopes in the first place.
