afiaActress and TV show host Valentina Agyeiwaa better known as Afia Schwarzenegger surely is a lady of many parts, one who can’t be wished away easily.

The air hostess appeared to have everything going for her till her late husband whom she was preparing to go on vacation with in the Bahamas was shot dead on 5th October 2007 activating her protective instincts leading to her smuggling her twin boys through the South African/Namibian border because of a child custody battle ensuing.

Once in Ghana, the opportunity to feature in a TV series must have been alluring and promptly Afia grabbed the chance to be the lead actress in the Afia Schwarzenegger series although the falling off with friend Deloris Frimpong Manso was spectacular.

Despite her acerbic tongue and sometimes excessive nature, the gifted lady landed the drive time slot on Accra based Happy FM as well as appointed a talk show host on e-TV and commentator on satirical show ‘Kokoko’ on TV. Her appeal was so strong that producers of TV 3’s Music Music show fell on her to pep up the show only for unsettled terms to scatter the plan.

Few can boast of having air-time on varied media platforms. Interestingly enough the wife (married a second time), mother and entrepreneur keeps gaining ground as the days go by even securing deals as an MC and fund raiser.

Enjoy Afia in all her glory.
