reggie crowdX Factor participants Reggie Zippy and Bollie who are having a swell time in the UK based competition have expressed profound thanks to their fans back home in Ghana promising to put in good work to clinch the ultimate prize.

According to Reggie Zippy, the music knowledge and skill acquired in the United Kingdom shall be translated to Ghana when they visit home and interact with peers and stakeholders.

He said just as Tettey Quarshie revolutionized the economy with his cocoa bean, they are poised to transform the music landscape with their gifts.

For partner Bollie when asked what compliments the duo, he explained “we are true to ourselves, we don’t imitate, in the beginning the audience and judges were unsure but they are now loving our show.”

He added, given that thousands who were in the race, they are glad to have come this far.

When asked by Madam Erskine if the duo could perform Samini, Shatta Wale or Stonebwoy tunes, Reggie Zippy explained they are constrained as the show allows for music from recognized record labels in the UK, Europe or the US.

The duo urged Ghanaians to continue to pray and wish them well to continue putting in solid performances and avoid elimination till the final in five weeks’ time.

Reggie Zippy made his name in Ghana with hit songs ‘Virgin’ and ‘Adoma’ before relocating to the United Kingdom while Bollie is noted for his ‘U May Kiss the Bride’ tune back in the day.
