hearts_tribute_newsbannerAccra Hearts of Oak have loaned South African import Shaun Mason October to fellow premier league side WAFA, ghanafootballnews.com can confirm.

October who joined the Phobians last year from South African side Santos, was one of the brightest spots on the team, winning a couple of man-of-the-match awards in the matches he played.

After starting off the season on a good note, the player was relegated to the bench in most matches, due to the stiff competition at the defensive setup of the team.

October was surprisingly named in the 15 players sacked by the team soon after the end of the season, butpressure from the fans who have fallen for his brilliant ball technique warranted his return to the team, but will not be playing for Hearts in the coming season.

According to Hearts sources, the technical team of WAFA expressed the desire to have October in their setup for next season, with both parties agreeing on a loan deal.
