Tamale-based Artistes are beginning to prove skeptics wrong about talents from the region following the massive crowd pulled by Ahmed Mujahid Bello, Known in showbiz as ‘Fancy Gadam’ at the launch of his album last weekend.

The talented musician went into the history books as one of the first from the north to fill 21,000-capacity Tamale Sports Stadium with a thunderous crowd.

Fancy-Gadam-AlbumLaunchSigned on the record label of Five Minutes Music, Fancy Gadam treated music lovers at the Tamale Sports Stadium to tracks from his latest “Naawuni Yiko” literally meaning God’s Grace, alongside other supporting artistes from the North.

A Radio presenter, Nash Iddi of ZAA FM who is keen about the entertainment industry up north, expressed his satisfaction and applauded the Fancy Gadem and his management for a successful event.

“No African artist will pull this crowd in Tamale lately…. Time for the world of entertainment to zone in and listen to us.  We have something uniquely unique… going on here right now…..” he wrote on his facebook wall.
