American based hip hop recording artiste Willie Maxwell known internationally by his stage name Fetty Wap has made a Hodge-podge of a tally of African musicians which he claims are his favourites.

The “Trap Queen” hitmaker who was on his “Welcome to the Zoo” tour, a few months ago divulged this news in an interview on a French-based TV called Clique TV.

Willie in the course of the interview expressed his fervor of visiting Africa in the subsequent years to come. When asked whether he could list some of the household names in Africa, he said: ” I can barely recall some of the artistes from Africa, but I can’t forget my favourites; Sarkodie, Wizkid, D’Banj, Guru, and Sauti Sol music Group from Kenya. I love to listen to their songs, he added.

Fetty Wap also talked about his new cars, his background, kids, and listening to Gucci Mane and other southern artistes.

He again averred on the fact that he writes his own songs. “Trap Queen, 679, Booming, My Way and all my songs were written by me”, “I could probably write 10 songs in an hour,” he gauged and ended his interview.

Sarkodie currently mentioned Fetty Wap’s name in his Choices hit song.
