Following a deep sermon on ‘Forgiveness,’ Kobi and Kokui made their vows to each other. Later at the reception, an excited Kobi expressed how he felt. “I’m happy. I want to tell everybody…my mother in-law, that I am happy.” Kobi further emphasized that his late father would’ve approved of Kokui as his wife.

The maternal parents of each spouse took turns to wish the couple the best. Kokui’s mother praised Kobi for being who he is, and said he sometimes reminds her of her late husband.

Kobi’s mother was full of praise for the new couple and asked for prayers and guidance for them. Patrice Amegashie, who has been working with Kokui since 2012 as co-hosts of This Morning on Viasat1, wished the couple the best in their union, while asking that they soon add one girl to their three boys.
