It’s time for Premier League clubs to get their chequebooks out as the summer transfer window is officially open.

Arsenal are among the top-flight sides who have already splashed the cash but it looks set to be a busy few months with Paul Pogba and Alvaro Morata both linked with moves to England.

ARSENAL

Looking for: Striker, full back, attacking midfielder

Already in: Granit Xhaka (Borussia Monchengladbach, £35m)

Arsene Wenger looked to finish his business early this summer and tied up Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach in late May. He had hoped to seal Jamie Vardy as well, but the England forward decided to stay at Leicester City.

The Gunners have also been linked with moves for Alvaro Morata and Switzerland left-back Ricardo Rodriguez, while still casting their net wide for another playmaker. Alexandre Lacazette is a name which won’t go away.
