Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo regional capital is the host city for the governing National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) 2016 manifesto launch event today ahead of the December 7 polls.

Although candidate Mahama had already given highlights of the manifesto document, pledging to Ghanaians a retention in power will see erection of 20 polyclinics, two more psychiatric hospitals, tri-cycles for persons with disability, five extra administrative regions and e-text books to students, today’s event will give deeper meaning to what an extra four years under Mahama will look like.

The Sunyani Coronation Park is expected to be beseeched by 50,000 NDC supporters, media men, representatives from other political parties, diplomats and party gurus including Presidential Candidate John Mahama.

Maximum security is anticipated as the police say they have procured hi-tech gadgets including as drones to spy on every happening at the event.
