Ghana’s female under 17 team, the Black Maidens are headed for Jordan on Tuesday to participate in the FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup tournament.

18 players plus the coach and management committee members are set for the trip after being camped at Prampram where they trained and mapped out a strategy to advance into the last stages of the tournament.

Ghana will be facing opponents in Japan and the U.S.A but are generally expected to better their performance at the previous tournament where they placed 3rd under the guidance of coach Masud Didi Dramani.
