Okra Tom DawidiIt’s been a minute since Okra Tom Dawidi dropped a project and his last release – ‘Winner For Life (Apology Song)’ in 2013. That’s about to change though, as the ‘hard core rapper’ says in a new interview that his die hard fans can now relax because he has dropped a new single titled ‘Spit Fire’.

“The fans should know am not retired. Just going to be dropping songs. Main objective is just to get hot in the streets”, he said.

Loved by his fellow music acts he has gotten high profile features from Tinny, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Obrafour, Stonebwoy, Ruff N Smooth and says the focus right now is just getting his debut album underway.

Okra Tom Dawidi still got the same bars he showed off some years back when he was a ‘foot soldier’ in Hammer’s Last Two music camp and has perfected it well. And that can be heard on his ‘Spit Fire’ song produced by in house engineer for Stonebwoy’s BHIM Nation – Beatz Dakay.

He was on his way to be one of the greats.

There’s a lot of questions without clear answers. Can Okra get hot again? Does he still have the potential? Will this new hiphop / hiplife generation even care? Most importantly, is he even serious with his statement that he is spitting fire?
