Communications Director for the People’s National Convention (PNC), Emmanuel Wilson says the party is set to meet to deliberate on the disqualification of the party’s presidential aspirant, Dr. Edward Mahama.
But ahead of the crunch meeting to chart the way forward, Mr. Wilson couldn’t hide his disappointment with the party’s General Secretary Atik Mohammed for sleeping on the job for the disqualification calamity to befall them.
“The General Secretary is in charge of administration and he had to direct affairs regarding the paper work but failed so what is the use of his office,” a peeved Emmanuel uttered.
He submitted the PNC is not a kid contesting elections having done so since 1992 adding to fail to make the list was regrettable.
Others who were disqualified include Progressive People’s Party’s Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, the All People’s Congress’ Dr. Hassan Ayariga, the National Democratic Party’s Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rwalings, Dr. Agyenim Boateng of the United Front Party (UFP), and Mr Kofi Akpaloo of the Independent People’s Party (IPP).
