National Chairman of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Professor Edmund Dele has made known that the allegiance of the running mate to the party’s cause and presidential aspirant is not in doubt.

According to Professor Dele, Nana Gabby Nketia was grilled at an intensive interview session and when he passed before he was declared as a running mate adding as Chairman of the Central Committee he can attest to the man’s integrity.

He further noted that even if Nana Nketia had been a card bearing member of the NPP, his acceptance to be running mate for the CPP automatically means he’s forfeited privileges in the other party.

The CPP’s Youth League has been breathing heavy on the neck of Nana Nketia to step down since it emerged on television that the former military man who hails from the Bono Ahafo Region, is a card bearing member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

But Nana Nketiah submitted he was originally a CPP member, having benefited much from the social interventions of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, before joining the NPP declaring he had ended his membership of the NPP and was now a full member of the CPP with the agenda of partnering Mr Greenstreet to deliver victory in the December polls.
