stars-4Ahead of their World Cup qualifying clash with the Black Stars on Friday, the Cranes of Uganda played the Sparrow Hawks of Togo as part of their training regime but suffered a 1-0 loss.

The Cranes are expected to land in Tamale on Thursday ahead of the game.

At the Black Stars training session on Tuesday, Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi warned, qualification to the Russia 2018 tournament won’t be easy despite appearing in 3 subsequent tournaments in Germany, South Africa and Brazil.

He stated the match was crucial as the Ugandans offer a challenge, though it can and should be scaled.
