President John Mahama has called on the electorate to reject the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because of the disunity in the party adding a vote for the NPP is a vote for divisiveness.

He asked Ghanaians to assess and be the judge of the turmoil in the leading opposition party which cannot bode well for the country as coming events cast their shadows.

He jabbed the NPP presidential nominee, Nana Akufo-Addo over his intolerant stance labeling the attitude as ‘menka mihu asem’ (better have no dissenting views about me) adding the intolerant postures from the top has trickled down to the file where the NPP Cape Coast North Chairman and one in Agona have all been sacked in addition to the nationally voted for chairman, Paul Afoko.

Candidate Mahama still on his Bono Ahafo tour visited Bechem, Dwayaw Nkwanta and Abbesim to rapturous welcome on the second day.

He warned since the NPP had failed to cater for a Tico vehicle how could an articulator truck be entrusted in their care.

According to Candidate Mahama, even though he lost at Dwayaw Nkwanta in the 2012 polls, because he is not vindictive, he’s spreading the wealth to them even asphalting their roads.

He informed the chiefs and people that a Nursing and Midwifery School has been built in the area awaiting accreditation from the supervising authority to begin rolling out the programmes.

The president in the company of his wife who hails from the region, also pledged to make the area prominent by citing the Fire Service Training School in the locality to serve Ghana and West Africa.

The chiefs of Tekyimantia prayed the president to fund an ultra-modern sports stadium to serve the Bechem United Football Club to enhance its competitiveness.
