fb_img_1487865365955Blakofe real name Oheneba Akua Manfo has landed the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC), Deputy Chief Executive Officer job thanks to President Akufo-Addo.

The former Metro TV lady and New African Magazine columnist is expected to draw on her experiences as a writer, events organiser, TV/Radio Presenter, producer, emcee and actress to advance the cause of the GTDC.

Blakofe together wither her superior and the team will be expected to ‘make noise’ about the country’s tourist attractions, develop such centres to rake in good money for the communities and the state.

The Ghana Tourist Development Company Limited (GTDC) was established in 1972 as a Limited Liability Company to operate as the investment and commercial wing of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
