The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee Members met on Tuesday in a bid to settle upon a new Black Stars coach to manage the team after the expiration of Avram Grant’s contact.

Assistant coach to Avram Grant, Maxwell Konadu has been asked to take interim charge of the team whiles Professor Mintah plays the assistant role.

The 6 member committee constituted to hunt for a new coach includes the following:

GFA President-Kwesi Nyantakyi, vice-George Afriyie, Technical Director-Francis Oti Akenten, football notable-Opoku Nti, Alex Asante and a yet-to-be-named representative from the Sports Ministry.

It emerged from the meeting that the new Black Stars coach will also be responsible for the local Black Stars team which competes in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament.
