Afro beats, reggae and dancehall man, Emmanuel Andrew Samini maintains he has nothing against rising youngster Medikal for his nominations in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards #VGMA2017 but reckons his prodigy, Kofi Kinaata was given a raw deal given his impact and content offering in the year under review.

In a chat with KMJ on Hitz FM as well as on twitter, the ‘Sweet Mistake’ singer could not fathom how despite rendering smash hits ‘Sweetie Pie’ and ‘Confession’ Kofi Kinaata was still ignored in the ‘Artiste of the Year’ category.

A storm was also raised by fans and observers when Kinaata was also put in the highlife category whom many see as a rapper who has singing gifts.
