The Ghana Meteorological Agency were spot on with their Sunday, April 9 weather prediction informing the citizenry of  rain and winds at least in Accra but it does appear their Thursday, April 13 prediction which has since proved defective and the agency’s attempt to disassociate itself from its own prediction has opened it up for ridicule.

Per a 24 hour forecast for Thursday, signed by deputy forecaster, Prince Appiah Kubi, Greater Accra together with other regions between 5pm to 6pm were to experience thunderstorm and rain but armed with the information when citizens headed home or took shelter in anticipation of the rains and winds and there was no show, they took to Facebook and Twitter to ‘tease’ the agency for missing the goal post.

Among others some of the post read:

//The rains are on a donkey and will arrive in good time//, //The Delta Force detained the rain//
