“It’s always great to be back home. Every Ghanaian would love to be at home and contribute to the development of the country. I’m overwhelmed, I didn’t expect such a huge welcome. I appreciate everyone who made time to be here.

“I always believe that the voice of the people is the voice of God. I want to thank the President of this country, the president of the Ghana Football Association and all Ghanaians for giving me the second chance to coach the national team.

“I will do the best I can but I can’t do it without the help of Ghanaians. So am calling on everyone to support me in my quest to achieve success for the Black Stars.”
