But loyalty by a section of the fans to Godwin Attram who led the boys to the premiership after another relegation fate meant there was effectively two teams at the club. One trained and headed by Attram and the other drilled by Tom Strand.

“I have struggled with my boys these four years in charge. The guys toiled for the club but with these agitations, the players are not in the right frame of mind,” Attram rendered at the training grounds nonetheless adding “I wish the team wins on Sunday.”
Mr. Amarkai Amarteifio recounted how a 14 year old Attram joined Olympics bringing along five friends including Dan Quaye, Laryea, Aziz and Chris Apeletey stressing they all had to be signed.
He noted that Attram had battled for the club and was valued given he is among a select few of players whose played on three continents and been a player-coach.
He however cautioned that Attram must be guarded not to be the one cited as breeding seeds of discord leading to another relegation stressing Strand was recruited to help uplift the team.
Meanwhile Tom Strand has officially signed for Accra Great Olympics in a brief ceremony which had part club owners, the Fattal brothers in session.
