fb_img_1456100088035Afro-pop singer and Funsi native, Wiyaala Noella has manager John Sherren to thank for her swift musical advancement after enduring torrid times earlier on.

And so when the United Kingdom native who has adopted Ghana and the Upper West town of Wa in particular as home turned 66 on Sunday, the ‘Tinambayai’ hitmaker did well to offer the following message to her manager on social media platforms of Twitter and Facebook:

//Happy birthday to John my manager! 66 today! waaaw! keep smiling!! 😂😃😃😃🎂🎂🎂🎂😘😘😘😘😘// had the pleasure to witness the 2 hour performance of Wiyaala at the +233 Pub and Grill and in an article, this writer made the observation below:

“Wiyaala’s manager Johnny deserves special recognition for his determination to help fly the Wiyaala brand. At +233 one could mistake Johnny for one of those who’ve come to witness Wiyaala perform for he was immersed in her performance dancing and nodding the head to the tunes with beverage in hand.

c360_2015-12-12-23-48-51-733“Even at the event grounds, overheard Johnny discussing other openings for his artiste with other music executives. Ghanaian mangers could take a cue and truly become assets and not liabilities to their artistes.”

And true to form, John has enabled a tour of Europe and exposed the Wiyaala brand to new audiences.

And of-course there is the issue of ‘Shereen eating from Wiyaala’s bowl.’

Have a good one Mr. Sherren.
