New Black Stars technical team members

The Ghana Football Association has tasked returnee Black Stars Coach, Kwesi Appiah to win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon as well as attempt to qualify the country to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

To that end a new technical team to steer the squad on to winning ways has been established and unveiled at the Ghana FA secretariat in Accra comprising:

Kwesi Appiah (Head Coach)

Ibrahim Tanko (1st Assistant Coach)

Maxwell Konadu (2nd Assistant Coach)

Richard Kingson (Goalkeepers Coach)

Stephen Appiah (Technical Co-ordinator)

Team Doctor – Chris Adomako

Video Analyst – Michael Okyere

Equipment Officer – Ishmael Hamidu

The local Black Stars technical team has also been constituted and includes:

Head: James Akwesi Appiah

Assistant 1: Maxwell Konadu

Assistant 2: Coach Dauda

Team manager: Edmund Ackah

Doctor: Dr Pambo

Equipment: Sheriff Musah (pozo)
