The signs were on the wall as early as July when lanky fellow and rapper Elom Adablah alias EL insinuated that his record label, BBnZ Live were not pushing harder for him to reach higher heights.

Mind you, this same BBnZ Live; an advertising and management firm were instrumental in EL scooping 5 awards at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards including the ultimate prize; Artiste of the Year trophy by investing in the production of his music, financing shoot of music videos, securing him gigs ad positioning him well.

As with all things conceived, at a media briefing to unveil his BAR 4 album and concert in Accra on Tuesday, November 14; EL disclosed he was no longer a BBnZ Live artist adding he is now a VONation artist, a label he owns and operates headed by his personal manager by Stephan Acquaye.

With this announcement, the fortunes of BBnZ Live now lay with Shaker and Ko-Jo Cue whose ‘Pen and Paper’ album is doing well. In a Live FM interview with Sammy Frosn, the pair expressed surprise that EL implies he wasn’t given the best of attention considering he was the face of the label who got all the juiciest deals.
