K.B. Asante

It’s been confirmed that statesmen K.B Asante has gone the way of the ancestors, aged 93 and here is the educational journey of the former president of the Ga-Adangbe Council who expired at his Labone Apapa residence in Accra.

Mr. Asante attended Achimota School then Achimota College from 1938-1942, where he taught mathematics before proceeding to Durham University in Britain, where he obtained a BSc Mathematics in 1952.

He was born on March 6, 1924 and attended O’Reilly Educational Institute, Tudu, Government Junior Boys’ School, Adabraka, and Government Senior Boys’ School, Kinbu, from 1927 to 1937.
