Isaac Dogboe with Prez Akufo-Addo

Fresh from his win against Mexican Juarez, Ghana’s world title boxing hopeful, Isaac Dogboe has visited the president; Akufo-Addo at the Flagstaff House in Accra to present the belt he’s won.

The Former Olympian was accompanied by his father cum Coach; Paul Dogboe and other team members.

The president expressed joy about his victory noting Ghana has been a notable boxing coast churning out greats including D.K. Poison, Azumah Nelson, Ike Quartey, Clottey and Joseph Agbeko.

He pledged to support the petit boxer to bring home a world title.

Dogboe beat Juarez to the win the interim WBO Super Bantamweight title.

His fight record now stands at (18-0, 12 KO). Dogboe has now set his eyes on Jessie Magdaleno in hopes of winning a global title.
