Pretty damsel and singer Celly Chordz has rebranded going by the new name Kafui Chordz explaining there was need to touch base with her Ewe roots and to stamp a unique musical identity heading out to become a global star.
Chordz is a University Of Ghana product who started out musically as a pianist in 2014 but mastered the courage to sing publicly by 2015, penning her own lyrics leading to her maiden single ‘Finally Us.’
She is out with a new LP “Pieces in Peace” forging a stronger presence on this body of work with her bias towards RnB, Hip Pop & Afro Pop clear as day. The project is in digital stores.
Chordz who is now responding to Kafui Chordz instead of her previous name Celly Chordz enjoys listening to stars Efya, E.L., Manifest, Asa, Kojo Antwi, Sarkodie, Emeli Sandé, Akon, Nas and Eminem. Meanwhile folks can check out ‘Pieces in Peace’ and be delighted with tunes ‘Highlife Mashup’, ‘One Day’, ‘Music’ and ‘Wrong’.
