On June 11, 2019 ‘Entertainment Review’ show producer at Peace FM, Eugene Osafo Nkansah and actress Victoria Lebene performed rites to live as husband and wife.
The marriage held at the Rehab Beach Club, Labadi-Accra, drew in many notables including Mikki Osie Berko, Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah, Martha Ankomah, Zynell Zuh, Afia Schwarzenegger, Efya Odo, Abeiku Santana as well as bloggers Yemmey Baba and Zionfelix.
As has become something of a convention, the couple appeared in their smock outfits for the traditional marriage before proceeding to undertake the court one or what is popularly called the ‘white wedding.’
For Nkansah he marshalled Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Kwaw Kese, A Plus, Kojo Rana and Maxwell Mensah as groomsmen while Victoria Lebene for her crew settled Nicky Simonas, Vicky Zugah and radio presenter Regina Van Helvert as bridesmaids.
For music, Okyeame Kwame, Praye and Wendy Shay hawked their music wares to warm applause from attendees.
But as has become something of the in-thing to do; that is ladies getting impregnated before marriage and delivering before the 9-month regular time, tongues soon started wagging when news emerged that Eugene and Victoria were set to be married that she might have been pregnant.
As if to silence the critics, Victoria Lebene in an Instagram post after the marriage event has posted a photo and added a contentious caption:
“Blessings come in many forms, but a man honours his woman before the next blessing.”
“Blessed are those who heed to the words of the lord before breaking the rules in holy matrimony. Only 1 man seeth what the lot does not see! #Godsservant.”
The commentary under the photo seem to divide people with some observing with a flat tummy in the latest picture, it must have meant the outfits she wore on the day of marriage were the ones which depicted her with a large stomach although she wasn’t pregnant.
Others however aren’t buying the ‘virgin’ claim although to be fair even when Lebene dated veteran actor Kofi Adjorlolo, she insisted they hadn’t been intimate.
We wish the couple good tidings.
