During the scuffle in parliament involving the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentarians over the NDC occupying the majority seat on the dawn of January 7 as well as vote to elect a new Speaker for the 8th parliament, Blakkpepper spotted the Awutu Senya East MP Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson undeterred by the exchanges with the opposing MPs.
While backing the Ablekuma West MP Ursula Owusu-Ekuful who had been disposed of her seat for which she also attacked Asutifi South MP Collins Dauda, another female MP came to our attention.
Charmingly beautiful, even while angry, her dimpled face could not wear a frown. Representing the good people of Akuapem North constituency in addition to being Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Information, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah Adjei’s facial countenance can even disarm a charging bull.
She seems to strike a bond with Ms. Koomson who doubles as Special Development Initiatives Minister.
It would be recalled that Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson earned immense media coverage heading to the December 7 general election following a firearm she fired at a registration centre in her constituency. That were calls for her to be fired by the president but no such thing happened.
